Fashion designers work in competitive fields where one is looking and searching for something that is going to make his/her name to be known one day, one needs to stand out for themselves.Theres only  one way to distinguish yourself in the world of art and that isfull of fashion designers is to score a sponsorship.
Sponsonsers can help you beef up your credibility and provide you with gear and proffessional support.
first of all clothing sponsors usually come with : Donation or contribution; where the company provides you with financial support because at the end of te day you're going to need the money.
There are also shop sponshorship where the company can give you free or a discount on the material that you're going to need. 
Amature sponsorship is the company that gives you free or discounted gear just like the shop sponsorship and on top of it gives you some of financial support for travel fees or pays for yor equipment expenses.

So if you want to make your dreams come true like the dream of being a fashion dsigner you need to start small and also consider on approaching brands or come with a name of your own which simply means that you can also your own brand and make it a local one as we know that out there on the streets people are out with their own brands and there are plenty of then which means that you need to be creative and unique. 
Make sure that the genre matches up with that your brand of choice. 
Prove to people that you enjoy and love your brand, sell it on your value or on how you value it amd stick with beacuse being unique sometimes is what makes to love you, people are going to love your brand.
